Currently, participants cannot choose a design for the message side of AwesomeBox cards. The site chooses card designs automatically based on the amount of text on the card. Some designs accommodate more words, while others are better for just a few words. We have a set of designs and colors that go together so that the whole box of cards look beautiful.
Here is a workaround to get our system to try a different design.

1. Create a card as you would normally. 2. Click the pencil icon in upper-right corner of card.

3. Click "Edit Message." 4. Copy/cut the remainder of your message to leave the FIRST THREE WORDS. Paste this copied text somewhere so that you don't lose it. Then, click "Next" button.

5. Our system will randomly pick a new card design, but one that is most suitable for just 1-3 words.

6. Again, edit the message and paste your original message back into the card. Another design will randomly be selected (but one that is meant for a longer message). Keep doing this until you get a design you want.

You could get what you want in one try, but it also may take many tries.
If you are a designer or just creative, you may find this frustrating. We hope to add more customization options in the future.
